Beautiful. It's always about anchoring into the present moment, as you say. And I love how you go into depth with the yogic teachings here too!

Thank you, Grace. I love those deep Yogic teachings too; they have become my whole life. Perhaps you feel that too?

Hi Jenni, I think this turned out to be a great article. You describe incredibly well what Patanjali called rāga and dveṣa—the mind’s attractions and aversions—as suffering-producing vrittis, or fluctuations of the mind. I hope your article reaches many people!

Thank you so much, Tamas. Your reading and feedback mean a lot to me. You are spot on, my lineage and tradition of Kriya Yoga is anchored in the wisdom of Patanjali’s Sutras and Vedanta. Your kind wishes are a blessing.

Oh, you’ve been initiated into a Kriya Yoga lineage! Now I understand where the clarity and strength in your writing come from. Were you initiated into Yogananda’s lineage?

I’ve also been initiated—I received initiation in the Sri Yukteswar–Yogananda lineage. It brought a profound turning point in my life.

Yes! I have received Kriya in the same lineage. We are Guru siblings, with Sri Yuketeswars clarity and Yoganandaji's devotion. These kinds of connections are small miracles in themselves.

I agree, the blessings of the Masters are truly profound.
